The Major League Baseball world was shocked on Tuesday when the Cardinals announced that ace Chris Carpenter was going to miss the entire 2013 season, thus likely ending his career. Carpenter was a fierce competitor who was well liked not only in the Cards clubhouse but through-out MLB.
